Frequently Asked Questions:
What equipment is needed?
Wrestlers should wear athletic shorts and a t-shirt to practice. Wrestling shoes are recommended, but not required for new wrestlers.

Does my wrestler have to attend every practice?
No, attendance at practice can be based on a schedule that is best for you and your wrestler. One of our goals is to get youth exposed and interested in the sport of wrestling so they will want participate.

My child is in XX grade, is it too late to get started in the sport?
No - it is never too late to start. Our club welcomes any student at any time. Our coaches will work with each wrestler to introduce the sport and provide a knowledge base that will help your child learn and succeed.

I didn't wrestle and not really sure about this sport.
You are not alone. The wrestling club applauds your efforts in letting your child try something new, not only to them but to you as well. We recommend taking the time to read through the "Parent's Guide to Youth Wrestling. Hang in there, you'll learn as you go along. Letting your child teach you is a great tool.
